Mabel...

Sorry we've been neglectful and haven't posted in a while. It's the summer holidays, so we're rushed off our feet. That's the apology out the way.

Right now it's touch and go with Mabel. She's at the vet having x-rays and fluids; she's very very poorly having not eaten for over 24 hours despite our best efforts to encourage her to nibble and drink, and giving her the medicine prescribed last week. Yes, last week she stopped eating, too, and we returned from the very with some more medication for her.

Like I said, it really is touch and go.

Birthday Girl

Today is Mabel's 5th Birthday. There is only one Birthday photo of her, because she was too busy to keep still. She said that, because it was her Birthday, today she was allowed to burrow into the sofa, and chew the beading on the cushions.

Mabel and Dijon have been enjoying some sunshine this morning.

Happy New Year

Mabel and Dijon would like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year. 

They have made some New Year's Resolutions:

Mabel will continue her mission to remove every tuft of carpet in the living room

Dijon will make sure he enjoys more hours of sleep

They have both made a great start!

Winter Update

There has been nothing much to report on the bunny front for the past month or so. Apart from a check-up plus vaccinations a few weeks ago, life has continued as normal. Mabel has kept up with her piano practice and usual mischief (mostly working on changing our carpeted living room to hard flooring), whilst Dijon - with the exception of sudden movement towards food - has mostly slept.

Mountaineering Mabel

Mabel leapt onto the top of the cage again this morning, via the piano, in search of hay.

The hay basket had not been topped up, so she decided to defy the rules of gravity and eat directly from the hay bag.

Ear Thief Strikes Again

Missing: two ears - one black, one yellow. Generous reward offered for any information leading to return of ears.
